Our Story

Acclaimed Scottish pop duo ‘The Eves’ are Marissa Keltie and Caroline Gilmour, one of the UK’s most promising emerging pop acts in recent years with their stand-out brand of harmonic, melodic pop.

Single releases ‘We’re On Fire’, ‘Big Love’ and ‘Brand New Day’ have commanded attention from mainstream commercial radio stations, with both tracks being played on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Introducing. The tracks have also featured heavily on regional and online playlists Worldwide.

Self-penned ‘Brand New Day’ spent a stunning 5 weeks on the BBC Radio 2 playlist.  It was also ‘Single of the Week’ on BBC Radio Scotland, played on Bauer Media’s Forth 1 radio station, reached No. 6 and No. 15 in the iTunes pop charts and iTunes main download chart respectively, charted in the Amazon ‘New Hot Releases’ UK Chart, and made an impressive debut in the UK Official Charts Company download and single charts in the top 65.  The track also features on an episode of ‘The Kardashians’ on Disney Plus and Hulu across America, as well as ITV’s ‘Love Island’.

‘Big Love’ was given the prestige of being adopted as the official anthem for Scottish Women’s Football for the 2022/2023 League Season, and was the pair’s first release as a co-write, written with Jim Duguid (Paolo Nutini) and producer Lewis Gardiner (Ellie Goulding, Nathan Evans).  The track was also featured on BBC Scotland’s most popular football show ‘Off the Ball’ with Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove.

The duo’s most recent release is the 4-track EP ‘Both Sides’ released in November 2024 and was co-written and produced by Dan Gautreau (Alicia Keys, Take That) and features prolific session drummer Ash Soan (Snow Patrol, Tori Amos) and Grammy-nominated string composer Dylan Love (Star Wars Outlaws).

On stage, the pair are seasoned performers having opened for a raft of major artists at sold out shows including Belinda Carlisle, Sister Sledge and The Shires.  They’ve toured extensively with Skerryvore and Horse across the UK, opened for Callum Beattie at the legendary Barrowland Ballroom, and have performed at numerous festivals including TRNSMT and Country to Country, sharing stages with the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gabrielle, Tony Hadley and Heather Small.

Their opening performances at the sold-out Celtic Connections show at the The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in 2024, and at Floors Castle in 2025, both opening for Skerryvore, remain highlights of their live career, proving an ability to connect with audiences in both intimate and large-scale settings.

Other highlights include performing at the Guinness Six Nations rugby for Scotland v Wales at BT Murrayfield, recording a live session for BBC Scotland’s ‘The Quay Sessions’, and several TV appearances on BBC Scotland’s ‘The Edit’ on national TV and BBC i-Player and STV’s ‘Bringing in the Bells’ 2025 Hogmanay show, ‘What’s On’ and ‘The Braw and the Brave’ chat show.

Highly versatile and accomplished musicians, songwriters and performers, Marissa and Caroline are also number one artists in their own right.

Caroline achieved a UK No.1 with her self-penned and self-released EP ‘Electric Waterfalls’ in 2016. It made the top spot in the UK Official Charts Company Vinyl Singles Chart on Record Store Day that year. It also reached No.2 in the UK Official Charts Physical Singles Chart.

Marissa is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, achieving a No.1 single in the iTunes Classical Music chart in 2022 with her piano composition ‘River and Reign’. She is also an established voiceover artist and commercial model. Her voiceover clients include Universal Music Group, BBC Scotland, Bauer Media, Spotify, BBC Sounds, Johnnie Walker Whisky, Unicef, The Scottish Government and Grammy nominated American DJ ‘Illenium’, where she was the voice of the Narrator on the ‘Starfall’ animated movie which featured music from Nina Nesbitt, Travis Barker and Avril Lavigne working in collaboration with Illenium

Working for the world-renowned Model Team agency, Marissa has appeared in many campaigns for clients including Bentley, Tennent’s Lager, British Airways, Scottish Opera, and Heineken.

In the charity sector, Caroline is Patron of the 6VT Edinburgh City Youth Cafe - a charity specialising in providing support to young people from all walks of life. Marissa also assists the charity with running music workshops. The duo also set up and run the U.K side of dog rescue organisation Pico’s Pack, raising awareness and funds to care for abandoned and abused dogs in Serbia.

The pair recently signed to the renowned label ‘Last Night From Glasgow’ and will be releasing their debut album in 2026.
